DOS Sourdough Starter Kit

This is a vintage sourdough starter that is over 170 years old. It has remained active through the years being used in logging camps, cow camps, chuck wagon cattle drives on the Nevada desert. Elk and deer hunting camps in Idaho, Wyoming, and Montana. The starter originated in the logging camp of redwood lumber baron William C. Carson in the mid 1850's in Humboldt County California.
